About Us

The National Conference on Information Technology (NCIT) 2026 is Fiji’s premier annual technology conference, bringing together innovators, industry leaders, policymakers, educators, entrepreneurs, and emerging technology professionals from across Fiji and the Pacific region. Hosted at the prestigious Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji, the conference provides a vibrant platform for dialogue, collaboration, and the exploration of emerging digital trends shaping the future of our region.

Organized by the National Training and Productivity Centre (NTPC) of Fiji National University, NCIT continues to play a vital role in strengthening the region’s digital capabilities by connecting academia, government, and industry. As the national provider of technical and professional training, NTPC is committed to advancing digital knowledge, workforce skills, and innovation that support Fiji’s growing digital economy.

NCIT 2026 will feature an engaging lineup of keynote presentations, expert panel discussions, interactive workshops, and technology exhibitions. Chathura is a director in the consulting practice of KPMG Australia and leads the offensive cybersecurity services. He possesses over 20 years of experience in offensive cybersecurity, establishing himself as a highly technical cybersecurity practitioner. He holds certifications as a CREST Certified Simulated Attack Manager, a CREST Certified Tester, and serves as an examination assessor for CREST International. He additionally holds a position as an advisory board member for CREST Australasia. He has delivered complex technical cybersecurity assessment programs and incident response engagements for numerous high-profile Australian and global organisations. He is a Fellow of AISA and CREST. He is presently engaged in the pursuit of a doctoral degree in Cybersecurity and Space Intelligence.
